You Bake??

Yeah, i'm quite surprise myself cause i never actually be the one who wants to bake. I usually be that "side kick" of mum, help doing those littlest things. But out of the blue moon, i'm suddenly itching up to bake! So this is my first, and it did turn out well (actually, this is my second, first was brownie. It was a disaster. -.-). I hope i could bake something better in the future. Insya'allah. But currently, my baking can never beat this two awesome friends who are Reallllllyyyyy good in baking. Chinatown

Manage to witness Chinatown being all busy with a lot of our fellow chinese Singaporeans doing their last minute shopping! I have always been a big fan of vintage items and places of interest. So seeing these old heritage places gets all interesting especially with the CNY around the corner, just shows that we are still keeping our tradition! And what not, it kept me all hype up!

Yes! It's in Chinatown!! The only shop that has nothing related to anything Chinese or local things!

After a hot and sunny weather in Chinatown, decided to go home but guess what, while riding, it started to rain so heavily that we both were stuck in the middle of the highway shelter! -.- That was my first time being in such condition. Though, we weren't alone. There were so many other riders that was stuck! It was about 20 plus of us! Though, it was such an unforgettable experience. I know i know, all of you caught a Double Rainbow and yadah yadah, but hey, i got stuck in a highway. Which is awesome?? HAHA

Accompanying the dearest boyfriend for CNY shopping and i can say we end up with a lot of bags on our hands. Hahs Its been a while actually since we've been to town for shopping. Got to say i have a number of pretty items on my "wish list" now. Hehs

A New Year, A Hope for a Better Year

2011 has been one of the toughest years that i have encounter. I saw myself fall down so many times that i found its hard to get up every time it happens. One of the awful times was when it involves on something that i always cherish and value and witness it with full of disappointments and sadness. It was really hard turning up for classes and being happy and all cheery when one feels totally the opposite. Was really hard, really. I thank Allah for showing me the way and answer my prayers that things are better now.

Though, 2011 wasn't all that bad. Even though with a number of down pours, a lot of wonderful things still do happen. One was when i found out that my application to a polytechnic was a success. Nothing could understand how happy i was since it is my wish on every birthday candle. There, i made wonderful friends. Friends who gives endless jokes and never fails to put a smile on my face. Another, was when i finally had the chance to celebrate Raya with my brother after a couple of years not being able too. Alhamdulilah.

Apart from all that, the person who was there to see my ups and down was my boyfriend. He held me by the hand and help me to get up every time i fall. He was there to brighten up my day (no doubt that i couldn't be bothered with his lame jokes. haha). He was there, all the way. Therefore, thank you baby, ily.

Stage Without Borders X'mas Edition

Best part of this production is that we manage to get the seats at the very first row to catch our dearest Ramnah performing! Verne and me also manage to see our old crew members performing. It's good to see how much they have pursue in their talents. I'm glad to have shared wonderful dancing experience with them. Seeing them grow and being known now, is something that i am proud for them. And of course miss dancing, TERRIBLY! =(

Ramnah perform hip hop and contemporary. It's been a while since i see contemporary dance and i must say i love the choreography. It was smooth. :) I didn't manage to get a nice shot for the hip hop performance. To think about it, almost all of the pictures doesn't turn out well. Dear Cammie, be good to me next time kay?

I think its quite rare to see me take such pictures with mr boyfriend like this. *i shy* lol

To think about it, it has been years since i step to town during Christmas day. And to be one of those people who only heard and see christmas day at orchard road in the tele, its super crowded in town that i had to take baby steps and feeling oh-so-drown in the sea of people! bleargh! Verne share the same experience though cause its her first too! Usually i would avoid town during Xmas and go during the normal days but oh well, i did this for Ramnah this time. Hehs

Bad news is that the three of us is not going to perform for New Year's Eve. I was pretty sad about it actually because it's seems like decades since we perform together. To think about it, among us, i'm the only one who is not busy with dance. Haha dah tua agaknyer tu. But stilll!

Maii ah, Double Two ah

At the strike of 12am i turned 22 on the 29th November. Instead of doing something special at that moment, i found myself doing laundry. Yes, laundry! Haha Though, my birthday went absolutely great!

It fell on a Tuesday which means that i spent my birthday in school. Sem 1 classmate really did surprise me with a video that all of them did (credit to Jojo) and on top of that, a birthday cake! With my current classmates being involve to take me to the toilet while a couple of them prepare videos to be shown at the class's projector screen, i went in being surprise with what was in stored. Went in with seeing the video being played and the minute the video ended, Sem 1 classmate suddenly went in to my class with a birthday cake, singing the birthday song. I teared, i really did. It really touches me that moment that i didn't know what to say. Thank you guys. I love all of you! ;)

Horror Night at Woodland Zone 9

The day or should i say, the night we have been waiting for is finally here! All the preparation and decoration that we have prepared with our own hands and creativity has all been paid off! I remember glue-ing the black cloth to the edge of the ceiling on every wall for almost 5 hours was tiring. With having back and neck aches from standing on top of the ladder, i remember i couldn't feel my whole body on the event day when i woke up. Plus, i accidentally punch the hot glue gun to my elbow. It hurts like crazy i tell you! Hahah Super-hot! Still sore up till today!

Well, we put so much effort for this event to make sure that the residents would enjoy themselves since it’s not always that Singaporean celebrate Halloween at their own neighbourhood right?

So on the day itself, all kinds of things were happening at the event. Jack’O lanterns Competition, Mummy wrapping competition, flea markets by the residents, stage shows haunted rc and many more! Myself and the members of the youths were part of the haunted rc ghost characters. We were suppose to be the ghost characters which haunts and live in the Haunted RC. Haha I was a witch on that day with my sister who were the mini witch of me. Hahah Though, I think I scared some residents which some did cried. =S

I guess it was my eerie laughter’s that scare them off. Hehe But you know what, when the first badge of people came to my "Witch house" and when the minute i start to do my eerie laughter, my artificial chin drop! Lol! I just turn and act it was part of my enac-ment and laugh loouder (but still maintaining my eerie-ness). Gaahhhhh

Kay, enough talking. I manage to get snap some pictures when i'm not busy. =)

A day after that, I had sore throat and the day after that, I was down with high fever and flu. Guess I push myself too much. But i had a lot of fun! Definetly. =)

Halloween Shopping

I have been busy since last month with meet ups after school with the RC committee members to come out with a Halloween event for the residents that stay around our district. We are focusing more on our RC centre where we will turning it into a Haunted House! Yes! With ghost and everything spooky! Everything seems to go good so far. Insya'allah, the event will turn out as what we predicted. With preparation still going on, there's no time to waste!

Saw the sunrise after solat subuh and masha'allah, it was such a beautiful sight indeed. A great way to start my morning. With a smile on my face, i decided to have another short nap before heading out to MacDonalds with sis for breakfast.

I remembered, walking around the vendors after breakfast and found myself indulging on the sight of people being happy with the company of their family and being free from work since it was a public holiday. Love to see children being what they are by just being amaze at everything they see and experience.

Cruising with Mr Boyfriend

Manage to get the Saturday an off after not receiving any call from the manager. I'm finally get to enjoy my Saturday! So Mr Boyfriend and me decided to visit Little India since both of us never been there together before. Of course, i just had to pay a visit to my gulab jamun uncle. Decided to purchase 2 then my previous visit which is 1. But somehow starting to regret buying 2 cause i should have purchase 5 or something! Hahaha Sedap lah!

Visiting places like this always reminds me of times when Mas and me go to such places and just plainly take photos. And talking about photos, i have not been using my dearest camera for 2 months. It somehow depressing as i am so used to bring it around with me everyday that without it, i feel so empty. I need to get it fixed or something soon. Cause using hp camera is not cool at all yo!

It's been almost 3 weeks since my school holiday has started. I have been pretty occupied with trainings, running some errands, catching up with friends and of course, celebrating Syawal. I'm sure due to my commitments, i had let down some appointments which i do hope you find it in your heart to forgive me.

Raya was fantastic with the extra joy of having brother joining us along this year. I might have to say i might be a little old to receive green packets but hey, i'm starting to receive bit by bit ever since everyone is hearing the news of me heading back to the books. So i might have to adjust my feelings a little bit towards this as i used to be the one who gives the money instead of the opposite. Hehs Though, visiting hasn't been much as i do not have much relatives here in Singapore. It's more to friends usually. But since i had to turn down a few, i only manage to go 2 to 3 house each time i went visiting. I know it's somewhat pathetic but i know with great friends, mouth watering food and knowing that in each house we will usually do something crazzyy, its enough to fill up my bucket of raya mood.

I kept munching to this during the matches. I couldn't stop myself. It was super delicious! Just imagine your normal popcorn covered with rich caramel? Love it! It cost me 6 bucks for this but after pop it to my mouth, it's totally worth it!

Ramnah's Belated Birthday meet up

Sash, That's what we used to call ourself when we were called to perform for a graduation ceremony for our school. We always be seen in sweat pants, big shirts and sneakers. But for Ramnah's special request, we decided to wear dress together! It's so hard for us to see each other in dresses. So that was something new that day.

Had a nice dinner at Manhattan Fish Market and after that, we decided to surprise her with our present to her. One of it was a video of her being ALL HER! Hahah Though, we glad that it put a smile on her face and it made Verne and my night. :)

Ahhh..that's how my Tuesday morning started. THEN..i stumbled upon a shoe that i feel suit most for work since i am searching for one. The shop uncle was seriously getting on my nerve. Seriously, when it comes to bad service, i rather not buy then having such a wonderful pair of shoe. I don't buy it. Pfft! NEXT!

Manage to get everything in less than 2 hours and we then decided to head back home. Was feeling sleepy the minute i reach home. Wanted to do so many things! But first things first, i have to do my RJ for school.

Went shopping for formal clothes last Saturday after not been visiting town for a while (seems like i got too carried away with my schedule huh?). Though, we didn't really get much of the things we want. But i know we did had some laughters and nice food. ;)

Excursion?

Nahh, not even close to an excursion. Just a small trip to the car park area right beside our block for an assignment we had to do for our PBL. The dress code for today was Nerd. Not really much of the classmates participate with the theme but oh well, for the fun of it, why not right? Hehs. I will update more when i get the pictures. Hehs.

Updates

There is so much thing that i would like to blog about since i haven't been having a proper post lately (blog only pictures?). I soooo need to start having a proper time management, period! There is uncountable things that i need to do but time just don't let me. How come? I don't know. Guess i'm just too jam pack with things. Hehs !

School has been great. Its the 13th week now that i am in school and i'm loving every part of it. Though, 2 more weeks and i have to change to another class. This is normal for my school since it always change every semester. This somehow sucks as my class really bond well. Like can you believe it that we already have our own Facebook group page on the 2nd or 3rd day of school? Beat that. I'm so going to miss you guys.

On the other hand, my studies is going fine (I guess??). Its just that i have some problem with Mr Mathematics. I need to interrogate with this subject or something. Seriously. Tsk.

I also have been planning on doing something about my hand-made cards. Still considering on it though. Feel free to check in my Facebook.

Talking about my hobbies, i am trying to focus back on photography. i'm trying to take part in photography competition to explore how far my ability can take me to. I know i do not owe such beautiful and powerful camera with such high quality megapixel. But with my determination and experience, i hope this camera can do some justice for me. Heee~!

For dance? It's been awhile since i last dance actually. The last time i perform was on New Year's Eve?? Ramnah and Verne has been asking me to go for dance classes but yeah, it all comes to my schedule again. Pfft! Though, been planning with both of them to have some mini dance practice after Ramnah is back from her attachment in China. Can't wait for her to be back though.

Anyhoos, despite all that, there is one news that i have been waiting for years and i'm meeting him sooooon enough! i can't wait! *smiling with glee*

Gawd, i need to go. I guess this isn't much of a proper post huh? Haaaa
